Cash for Caulkers Makes the News Again (12/15/09)

The proposed “Cash for Caulkers” program has made the news again, as the LA Times reports that President Obama today pushed Congress to create a program to provide cash incentives to homeowners to improve their homes’ energy efficiency by replacing windows, caulking leaks and modernizing heaters and air conditioners. He even went as far as to say that insulation is “sexy” because it saves money.
