KRASOL polybutadienes are liquid, low-molecular-weight polymers of butadiene with varied compositions. Benefits include ease of handling and processing, high reactivity, crosslinked product properties, and use in a variety of applications. Chemically, they are either functionalized, containing terminal reactive functional groups, or nonfunctionalized, without terminal reactive groups. Each of these two basic types is available commercially in four molecular weights: 2,000, 3,000, 5,000, and 10,000 g/mol.
