Energy Overhaul Bill and U.S. Manufacturing (6/29/09)

 The energy overhaul bill has passed the U.S. House of Representatives and is currently before the U.S. Senate. It is predicted by some that if passed and implemented, this bill will have the effect of "devastating the country's battered industrial base while pushing polluting industries to countries with lower environmental standards." John Boehner, R-Ohio, says "This is the biggest job-killing bill that has ever been on the floor of the House of Representatives."
