AREMCO OFFERS NEW CERAMIC ADHESIVE
Ceramabond 835M, a new alumina-based ceramic adhesive, is now used to assemble high-intensity, high-wattage halogen lamps in high-speed production systems. Ceramabond 835M is a water-based formulation that bonds aggressively to ceramics, glasses and metals. It is supplied as a single part, dispensable paste that is ideally suited for automatic dispensing in high-speed production systems. Product properties include an operating temperature resistance of 3000°F (1650°C), dielectric strength of 200 volts per mil, and tensile-shear strength of 500-600 psi after exposure to 1000°F. For high-speed production, full curing is accomplished within 60 minutes by step curing in a tunnel furnace for 30 minutes each at 100°C and 200°C, respectively. Shrinkage upon curing is less than 1%. Uncured residue may be cleaned up with warm water and soap.

HENKEL INTRODUCES NEW LEAD-FREE SOLDER PASTE
Multicore® LF600 is a halide-free, no-clean Pb-free solder paste that has been formulated for excellent humidity resistance and is ideal for varying manufacturing climates, enabling multinational firms to qualify and deploy the material globally with the guarantee of consistent results. These characteristics allow for superior printing and reflow performance, even in regions where temperatures are upwards of 30°C (86°F) with 80% relative humidity. The formulation of Multicore LF600 utilizes a new activator chemistry that combines excellent coalescence with ultra-low voiding to deliver excellent long-term, in-field reliability results. In addition, the material has been designed with an innovative gelling technology that enables zero hot slump and eliminates any issues with mid-chip solder beading.

I&J FISNAR OFFERS NEW DIAPHRAGM VALVE FOR PRECISE FLOW CONTROL
The VD510 is a diaphragm valve designed for precise flow control of low-to-medium viscosity materials (under 10,000 cps). The valve is small in size, weighing 2.7 oz and standing just 3.1 inches; this makes it ideal for stand-alone bench dispensing or machine integration. The diaphragm valve design separates the wetted parts from the driving parts, thus making the valve ideal for dispensing cyanoacrylates, electrolytes, reagents, glues, paints, solvents, alcohol and other volatile substances that may cause damage to machinery. When air pressure is applied to the valve with a standard I&J Fisnar dispenser, the valve will open and the material will be dispensed. After the dispense cycle has finished, a spring assists the valve in returning to its closed position for immediate shut-off, which allows little to no chance of material waste.
