AREMCO INTRODUCES NEW INORGANIC ADHESIVE SYSTEM Ultra-Temp™ is a new single-part, zirconia-filled inorganic adhesive system for bonding zirconia components used in high-temperature sensors and instruments to 4400°F. Its dielectric strength is 250 volts/mil; volume resistivity is 108 ohm-cm; and torque strength is 8.6 in-lbs. Due to its inert chemistry, Ultra-Temp 516 will not outgas under ultra-high vacuum (UHV), a common requirement for many industrial processes, such as semiconductor manufacturing. Ultra-Temp™
516 also provides excellent chemical, moisture and thermal shock resistance.
ASYMTEK INTRODUCES NEW INLINE FLUX DISPENSING SYSTEM The Axiom X-1030 Series dispensing system was designed for selective jetting of traditional flux, no-clean solder fluxes and other precise coating applications. Available in single- or dual-lane configurations, the closed-loop X-1030 dispensing system optimizes underfill and package reliability, improving production throughput and equipment utilization by as much as 60-85% with the X-1032’s dual lane multitasking capabilities. Configured with Asymtek’s DJ-2200 DispenseJet®
valve with coaxial air technology, the Axiom X-1030 Series is ideal for jetting ultra-thin flux film builds.
HENKEL HONORED WITH TWO INDUSTRY AWARDS Henkel Corp.,Düsseldorf, Germany, has announced that its new Loctite® 3508 Cornerbond™ underfill system was recently honored with two prestigious industry awards presented during the Nepcon China/EMT China event, held April 23-27 in Shanghai. Henkel began the week with the acceptance of an inaugural SMT China Vision Award and landed its second award — an EM Asia Innovation Award — before week’s end.

SHARPE MIXERS OFFERS NEW HYDROFOIL MIXING IMPELLER The Sharpe HYFLOW 218 Impeller features a hydrofoil-style, 4-blade design with tapered blades that have a narrow, low-pitch section nearer the hub where it moves slower. Producing maximum flow per unit horsepower, the curved blades resist bending under the stresses from fluid forces and reduce drag, and the 4-blade design is more stable than a 3-blade impeller. Part of a complete family of impellers for a range of applications and liquid viscosities, the HYFLOW 218 impeller is available in sizes from 3” to 210” diameter, made from 316 stainless steel, titanium, inconel, nickel, and other allows. Available in one-piece, all-welded and split-hub designs, the blades are
all welded to the hub in each configuration for maximum strength.
UNION PROCESS OFFERS CIRCULATION ATTRITORS Union Process Circulation (“Q”) Attritors are an ideal choice for difficult-to-grind-and-disperse materials where a very narrow particle size distribution and good temperature control is required. Large quantities of material can be ground using a relatively small amount of grinding media. Efficient temperature control is possible since the slurry spends most of its time in the holding tank and only 20-30 seconds per pass in the grinding chamber.
