More3M recently announced that it has completed its acquisition of the tape-related assets of Alpha Beta Enterprise Co. Ltd., a leading manufacturer of box sealing tape and masking tape headquartered in Taipei, Taiwan.
The acquisition reportedly allows 3M to increase its manufacturing footprint in the Asia Pacific region and expand its product line for high-volume masking and packaging tapes. The Alpha Beta Tape Business is now a part of 3M’s Industrial Adhesives and Tapes Division GTA business unit.
