ADM Tronics: Anti-Static Liquid Additive

ADM Tronics now offers a new additive, Staticon 460, for all aqueous liquids where anti-static properties are required. This versatile product is a highly effective additive for adhesives, inks, coatings and water-based liquids, providing a high level of conductivity of the coated film. Staticon 460 allows for rapid static dissipation on machine, and a high level of conductivity in the residual dried surface of the coated substrate. It can be used, as supplied, as a direct stir-in additive. It also has a tendency to thicken some liquids - a desirable attribute in certain applications.

BAYER MATERIALSCIENCE: Polyester-Polyurethane Dispersion

Bayhydrol® XP 2592 is a cosolvent-free, waterborne polyester-polyurethane dispersion designed for use in the formulation of high-quality coatings. This product emits only a slight amount of VOC and helps to meet the requirement of the VOC Directive without the use of costly and complex waste air purification. These coatings are applied to metal industrial goods such as shock absorbers, axles and agricultural machinery. Bayhydrol XP 2952 was originally developed for air drying and forced drying with atmospheric oxygen driving the crossilinking process. However, the OH functionality of the binder also permits the formulation of baking coatings, with amino resin crosslinking, and two-component coatings, with polyisocyanate crosslinking.
