BLACKSBURG, Va. – The Adhesion Society’s 24th Annual Meeting will be held at Colonial Williamsburg, Va., February 25-28, 2001. A full program focused on application of adhesion science to solving technical problems is planned.

The Society has issued a call for papers in all areas of adhesion science and technology for presentation at the meeting. Topics of emphasis include, but are not limited to: 50 Years of Adhesion Science at NIST; Adhesion in Electronics – Packaging and Assemblies; Composite Materials; Design and Durability; Optical Applications; Pressure Sensitive Adhesives; Wood Adhesion; and Contact Mechanics in Adhesion Science.

Authors wishing to present either an oral or a poster paper should submit a one-page written abstract to Dr. John A. Emerson, program chair. Abstract submittal via the Internet is due on September 26, 2000, to www.adhesionsociety.org/2001mtg.
