PATERSON, N.J. – On January 2, 2001, a fire destroyed Ultra Additives’ manufacturing plant in Paterson, N.J. No one was injured. As a result of the fire, New Jersey plant personnel (plant manager, supervisors, schedulers, quality control manager, batch makers, and shipping and receiving personnel) have all been relocated to the company’s Clover, S.C., facility, which has the capacity to handle the additional manufacturing requirements.

According to President and CEO Ted D’Amico, the South Carolina facility began producing Paterson-based formulations on January 7, 2001. The company has met and will continue to meet all orders.
