The Adhesive and Sealant Council Spring Convention and Exposition will be held March 18-21, 2001.

BETHESDA, Md. – The Adhesive and Sealant Council, Inc., (ASC) Spring Convention and Exposition will be held March 18-21, 2001, at the Contemporary Hotel at DisneyWorld, Orlando, Fla. The convention focuses on manufacturing and management issues. Mike Manegold, Schnee-Morehead, is the convention chair.

The ASC invites prospective speakers to submit abstracts on the following topics:

Manufacturing: Supply-Chain Management; Quality Control; Process Engineering and Software Control Systems; Batch Processing; Productivity; IT Success Stories in Manufacturing; Heavy Duty and Mixing Equipment.

Technical: Waterborne Adhesives; Microelectronics; Updates on Specifications, i.e. ASTM, AAMA, CSI, etc.; Nanotechnology.

Business: Management Strategies and Case Histories; E-commerce; Marketing Strategies and Customer Service; Succession Planning; Outplacement (company and individual); Workforce Issues - Motivating, Maintaining, and Training.

End User: New and/or unique applications for adhesives and sealants in your industry; Future requirements for adhesives and sealants.
