The Alliance for the Polyurethanes Industry (API), a business unit of the American Plastics Council (APC), has revised and updated its guidance document.

ARLINGTON, Va. -- The results of the 2000 End-Use Market Survey of the polyurethanes industry in the United States, Canada and Mexico will be released by the Alliance for the Polyurethanes Industry (API) at its upcoming Expo, Oct. 1-3 in Columbus, Ohio. This year's Expo features 67 exhibitors; API expects that number to increase to near-80 by the time the show opens.

The survey will detail current market volume and growth, and estimate future growth through 2002. Profiles of major polyurethane adhesives and sealants applications will reveal which sections of the industry are enjoying the highest growth rates. The survey, conducted by Ducker Research, will be the first industry-wide look at how the current economic slide is impacting polyurethanes.
