PITTSBURGH – Ezekail (Zeke) L. Clark, one of the founders of Pressure Chemical Co., died unexpectedly on October 27, 1999, in Phoenix, following a hip fracture. Clark, a scientist with the U.S. Bureau of Mines, and his long-time friend, Benjamin Rosen, a lawyer and entrepreneur, established Pressure Chemical Co. in 1964 to manufacture novel research materials to support fundamental scientific investigations.

Today, the company continues to focus on novel products and services unavailable within larger, more diversified organizations. Its operations have grown to include two operating facilities with capabilities to serve the niche requirements of R&D professionals representing major chemical, oil, plastics, fats and oils, pharmaceutical, and cosmetic companies throughout the world.

The company continues to carry Clark’s mantra, “What are you doing, why are you doing it, and how long have you been doing it that way?” He will be missed by those who knew and loved him.
