SCAPA: Black Polyethylene PSA Film

Scapa Automotive now offers Scapa P989BK, a black pressure-sensitive adhesive film formulated for extremely high wear and abrasion resistance in high-friction automotive applications. This product meets Ford ESB-M3G123-B, GM 6419M and Daimler-Chrysler (DCX) MS-CH612 automotive specifications. Scapa P989BK consists of a 3 mil black ultra-high-molecular-weight polyethylene film, single coated with a high-performance acrylic adhesive and supplied on a 64# lay-flat kraft release liner. The polyethylene film offers low-surface-energy characteristics and is inert to many chemicals and solvents. This product is ideal for automotive applications requiring high wear and abrasion resistance, including pipe and harness protection, separation of dissimilar metals, anti-squeak and rattle protection, and sound damping.
