Responsible Care is the chemical industry’s health, safety and environmental performance-improvement initiative. Since its launch in 1988, Responsible Care has been recognized as one of the most successful environmental, health and safety initiatives by industry anywhere.

The Responsible Care Leadership Award is given annually to the company that demonstrates the highest degree of excellence in implementing the ACC’s Responsible Care Codes.
