AMETEK Inc. has named Harold Preben Caroe vice president and general manager of its Test and Calibration Instruments Division (T&CI). Caroe, who joined AMETEK in 2000 as Sales and Marketing director of AMETEK Denmark, was made general manager of AMETEK Denmark in 2001 and promoted in 2003 to division vice president with responsibility for T&CI's European operations. AMETEK T&CI markets calibration and specialty materials testing products and systems under JOFRA, LLOYD INSTRUMENTS, CHATILLON and DAVENPORT brand names, and has manufacturing operations in Fareham, UK, and Largo, FL.
