BETHESDA, Md. -- The Adhesive and Sealant Council's (ASC) 2002 Fall Convention and Exposition, "Leading Change in the Industry," will be held October 13-16, 2002, at the Hilton Pittsburgh. The event will offer customized programs for both technical and non-technical attendees.

The three-day industry gathering will also feature a special hot melt focus, including a session on new hot melt technologies; a separate, two-day hot melt short course; and expanded Expo hours with special focus on hot melt suppliers.

On Wednesday, October 16, there will be an industry roundtable, facilitated by David Jackson, Apollo Systems. Attendees can hear industry leaders answer questions about the state and future of the adhesives and sealants industry. Panelists include Alan Bate, vice president, National Starch and Chemical Co.; Gilbert Chapman, senior manager, Advanced Materials, Daimler-Chrysler Corp.; Michael Klonne, CEO, Bostik Findley; Albert Stroucken, CEO, H.B. Fuller Corp.; and John Williams, executive vice president, Bayer Corp.
