Bostik Findley Inc. has announced the availability of Bostik Chem-Calk Heavy Duty Construction Adhesive. Engineered to provide high green strength and flexibility, the adhesive is a one-component, moisture-curing polyurethane adhesive that exhibits low odor and high solids properties. It has been specially formulated to adhere to any surface (particularly wet, frozen or treated lumber), will gun in temperatures as low as 10 degrees F, and sets quickly, even in damp or rainy conditions. The adhesive has less than 4-percent VOC content and low odor making it CARB VOC compliant, and a choice for use in environmentally sensitive applications. Its high solids formulation means less adhesive is required per application to achieve a stronger, more tenacious bond that will not shrink or run out.
