TORONTO, Ont. – BASF Canada and Stochem Specialty Chemicals have entered into a distribution agreement that will enhance the level of service and technical support throughout Canada for users of coating, adhesive, sealant and elastomer (CASE) basic polyurethane chemicals. Stochem will use its nationwide network to distribute BASF’s Lupranate isocyanates and Pluracol polyether polyols.

The agreement offers “one-stop-shopping” for customers across Canada, according to Karinna Neumann, BASF Canada Marketing manager for Polyurethane Products. “We will be able to provide a wider range of basic chemicals to more customers who manufacture CASE polyurethane products. At the same time, we will increase our levels of service and strengthen technical support,” said Neumann.
