DUBLIN, Ohio - Ashland Specialty Chemical Co., a division of Ashland Inc., has expanded its facility in Kidderminster, Worcestershire, England, to include pressure sensitive adhesives (PSAs). This fully automated plant is Ashland's second European facility to manufacture PSAs.
"Bringing this plant expansion online allows Ashland to provide its European customers with product-development resources and highly customized technical and distribution solutions," said Elizabeth Potts, vice president and general manager, Specialty Polymers and Adhesives.
Ashland recognizes the trend toward globalization in the pressure sensitive adhesives market and the need to serve its customers locally. The facility employs 80 people and offers state-of-the-art manufacturing, quality-control, product-development and technical-service capabilities for PSAs.
