The Adhesive and Sealant Council’s Fall 2007 Convention and Exposition will be held Oct. 8-10 at the Hyatt Regency Crown Center in Kansas City, MO. This year’s Fall Convention will feature a two-and-a-half day conference program, networking events and the adhesive and sealant industry’s largest exposition of raw materials, equipment, and service providers.

Educational sessions at the Fall Convention will feature a business or technical focus, and sample presentation topics include: a global market report (including EU updates from FEICA); new chemical safety regulations from the U.S. Dept. of Homeland Security; “next-generation” workforce issues and challenges; the latest business trends; innovations in adhesive and sealant raw materials and formulations; and more.

Co-located with the Fall Convention, ASC also offers its Polyurethanes Short Course. The course, which will run Oct. 7-8, is designed for entry-level chemists, application engineers, sales and marketing professionals, and other technical personnel employed by adhesive companies, raw material and equipment suppliers, and end users. The Polyurethanes Short Course will cover raw materials, formulation testing, applications and more.

Ample networking opportunities at the Fall Convention include a golf outing on Sunday, Oct. 7; the Exhibitor Appreciation Reception on Monday, Oct. 8; a Kansas City barbeque on Tuesday, Oct. 9; and an optional tour of Kansas City’s Harley-Davidson plant on Wednesday, Oct 10.
