Sealant Equipment & Engineering, Inc.’s new Servo-Flo®404-IDS dispensing system is incorporated into Motoman’s Integrated Dispense System using their series MH or ES 6-axis robot. The Servo-Flo meter’s servo drive, Yaskawa encoder and supply pump system controls are integrated into the Motoman control panel for a smaller footprint, lower system cost, and one-stop operator control of the entire robotic dispensing system. The integrated system provides precision dispensing of fluids with excellent response time for start and stop of extruded beads.

The Servo-Flo 404-IDS is a positive displacement servo-drive meter with a manifold or remote mounted dispense valve ideal for robotic dispensing applications such as adhesive bonding, casting, filling, gasketing, molding, sealing and many other operations. The robust positive rod displacement meter will easily dispense adhesives and sealants such as one-part epoxies, mastics, silicones, urethanes, and abrasive materials.

The Servo-Flo 404-IDS meter includes a quick-change dispense valve available in Tip-Seal®, No-Drip®and Snuf-Bak®models for accurate start-stop of material flow for dispensing beads, shots or dots in streaming, extruding, spray and high-speed stitching applications. The Servo-Flo 404-IDS meter can be robot wrist or arm mounted and pedestal mounted for presenting the part by robot. A complete robotic integrated dispensing system includes supply pumps, hoses and accessories such as material temperature control, automated waste collection, vision, and system integration.
