This company has announced the availability of No. 945, an electrically heated, 500°F (~260°C) universal oven for various curing tasks. Workspace dimensions are 54” wide x 36” deep x 36” high. Nichrome wire heating elements (6.6 KW) heat the load while a 600 cfm, ½-HP recirculating blower provides horizontal front-to-rear airflow.
The unit has 4” insulated walls, an aluminized steel exterior and a Type 430 stainless steel interior. It is also equipped with an integral leg stand with casters and leveling pads. Onboard controls include a digital indicating temperature controller, a manual reset excess temperature controller with separate contactors, a recirculating blower airflow safety switch and an SCR power controller.
