The Adhesive and Sealant Council, Inc. (ASC) announced three changes to its board of directors and welcomed 10 new member companies to the association.
ASC’s board of directors confirmed the following appointments, effective May 1:
•    Glenn Frommer, president of ADCO Products Inc. and current director, will assume the role of treasurer, replacing Marcello Boldrini, who is pursuing a new business opportunity.

•    William Campbell, president and CEO of Bostik Inc.-Americas, will serve the remainder of Jeff Merkt’s term as a director. Merkt has accepted a leadership position within Bostik to develop the company’s efforts in China. Campbell’s term runs through October 2011.

•    Andrew Johnston, director, Business Development and Strategy, Ashland Inc., will serve the remainder of Boldrini’s board term. Johnston’s term runs through October 2012.
“On behalf of ASC’s member companies and the board of directors, I want to thank Glenn, Bill and Andy for supporting the organization through their volunteer leadership,” said Jim Owens, ASC chairman and senior vice president, H.B. Fuller Co. “I appreciate their willingness to accept these roles as we responded to the great news Marcello and Jeff recently announced. I look forward to working with them to respond to industry opportunities and challenges on behalf of ASC members. I also wish the very best to Marcello and Jeff-two ASC leaders who gave considerable time and effort to ensuring the Council remains vibrant, dynamic and member focused.”

10 New Member Companies Added

Over the past six months, ASC has welcomed 10 new member companies into the council, resulting in a total of 108 member companies.

“ASC is an even stronger trade association with the addition of these new members,” Owens said. “It is the council’s goal to always mirror the industry we serve. These companies bring additional diversity to the association and will enhance both the council and other members through their active participation.”
