MACtac® supplies pressure-sensitive adhesive label material for Holiday Evergreens Forever Stamps.

With the holiday season near, American homes will once again be adorned with traditional holiday evergreens. Carrying the seasonal greenery from home to home, the U.S. Postal Service (USPS) has issued four new stamps as part of its Holiday Evergreens Forever series. MACtac supplied the pressure-sensitive adhesive label materials for the more than 2 billion 44-cent first-class stamps issued, available in booklets of 20.

The new stamps feature foliage and cones of four different conifers: ponderosa pine, eastern red cedar, blue spruce and balsam fir, which will grace billions of cards and packages expected to be delivered this holiday season.

“The holiday season is always an exciting time for families and friends and one of the busiest times for mailing cards, packages and other forms of good cheer,” said Allison Hazel, marketing manager, MACtac Printing Products. “By supplying the label stock for this season’s stamps, MACtac joins in the holiday celebrations and hopes these small touches of greenery bring smiles to households across the nation.”

The stamps were designed by the late Ned Seidler, an artist with a gift for painting objects of nature.
