This company has issued a bonding study of adhesive tape systems for the new environmentally friendly BioFoam™ plant-based polyurethane products by Woodbridge Foam Corp. The study of 20 adhesive tapes bonded to BioFoam products includes Adchem's new 6943, a low-VOC transfer tape. The tape complies with the limits defined by the Japanese Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare and agreed upon by the Japanese Automobile Manufacturers Association.
The Woodbridge foams and Adchem tapes will benefit converters and fabricators looking to manufacture "green" products. The 6943 adhesive tape is a 3-mil acrylic transfer tape available in 54 in. wide with a lay-flat, moisture resistant, 74# polycoated Kraft liner.
