Dow Corning has named James Stephenson global marketing manager for its healthcare business. He will be responsible for setting the overall strategic direction and overseeing the development and commercialization of new silicon-based technologies.

Stephenson joined Dow Corning in 1997 and has more than a decade of experience in business development and commercial leadership. He most recently led a cross-functional team within the corporate incubator, driving some of Dow Corning’s future businesses toward commercial success. He also served as global product line manager for the Advanced Technologies and Ventures business, where he provided management oversight for more than 1,000 high-technology products sold in the electronics industry.
