It’s that time of year again: The Pressure Sensitive Tape Council (PSTC) Week of Learning 2011 will take place May 9-13 in Orlando, FL. Sponsored byASI, the Week of Learning aims to bring together important figures in the pressure-sensitive adhesive (PSA) industry in order to promote information sharing.

A Chance to Learn

At the Week of Learning, leading adhesive and tape manufacturers, suppliers, and experts will be able to choose from a number of knowledge-building events. Tape University will consist of an introductory “Fundamentals for PSA Tape” class, as well as a more advanced class titled “Adhesives and Advance Technologies of PSA Tape.” Tape University classes will be held on May 9 and 10 by instructors who are currently involved in the tape industry and have plenty of past experience.

After the conclusion of the Tape University program, experts leading the TECH 34 technical seminars will discuss recent innovations, sustainability, and other hot-button issues in the PSA community. Barry Asmus, Ph.D., and senior economist of the National Center for Policy Analysis, will function as the keynote speaker at the first session of the TECH 34 program on Wednesday, May 11. The TECH 34 seminars will continue through May 13. The overall seminar schedule is flexible so visitors may attend all the educational sessions or choose only those that are most relevant to their profession and educational needs.

Exhibitor Showcase & More

A “Meet PSTC” Welcome Poster Reception will be open to all attendees on May 10 from 5:00 to 6:30 p.m. On May 11, more than 50 exhibitors will be present for the PSTC Exhibitor Showcase and Poster Reception in Regency Hall at the Hyatt Regency Grand Cypress.
