Kraton Performance Polymers Inc. recently announced the appointment of John J. Gallagher III and Francis S. Kalman to its board of directors. Gallagher is CEO of Stellar CJS Holdings LLC, a privately held investment company formed. He served in various senior executive capacities with Celanese Corp. from 2005 until 2009, including executive vice president and president of Acetyls and Celanese Asia, and executive vice president and CFO of Celanese Corp.

Kalman served as executive vice president of McDermott International Inc. from 2002 until his retirement in 2008, and as CFO from 2002 until 2007. Kalman currently serves as senior advisor to a private investment subsidiary of Tudor, Pickering, Holt & Co. LLC, which specializes in direct investments in upstream, oilfield service, and midstream companies. He is also a principal of Ancora Partners, LLC, a private equity group, and a director of Ensco plc.
