McCoy Soudal, a 50:50 joint venture company between the McCoy Group of India and Soudal Group of Belgium, recently announced it has invested approximately INR 500 million (~ $8.9 million)to build one of Asia’s largest adhesives and sealants manufacturing plants in Bawal, Haryana. Built on a 200,000-sq-ft area, the production plant is equipped with state-of-the-art automatic machines and equipment from Europe. The facility will initially be capable of producing 15 million unitsof cartridges, sausages and tubes of sealants and adhesives. Production  will reportedly be further scaled up to 30 million units in phase two, which is expected in 2014.
