Croda recently announced that the 2013 “Global 100 Most Sustainable Corporations” report has ranked it as the highest placed UK-based company and at number 25 in the world. The report, compiled annually by Corporate Knights, a Canadian media organization specializing in corporate sustainability, is reportedly the most extensive data-driven corporate sustainability assessment and is based on the financial, social, and environmental performance of around 4,000 of the world’s largest listed companies.

“I am delighted that Croda’s sustainability credentials have been endorsed so comprehensively in this report,” said Steve Foots, chief executive. “Our high global ranking and leading position in the UK reflects the significant amount of time that we have invested in this area. Our objective is to excel even further and make sustainability a major point of difference for the business. We are confident that this strategy will generate even greater benefits for the environment in which we operate, the people that we work with and our shareholders.”
