More7833 PET is a new elevated-temperature acrylic adhesive transfer tape on a PET film liner for thermoforming in aerospace, automotive, appliance, electronic and medical applications. The 1.5-mil PET liner product carries a 3-mil pressure-sensitive acrylic adhesive with a biostatic additive for mold control. It can be used in applications with intermittent temperatures to 300ºF.
The tape can be pre-applied to thermoformable materials, reportedly permitting forming to mild contours and eliminating post-forming adhesive application to finished parts. It is available at 49 in. wide.
