H.B. Fuller Co. recently announced it has been named one of the Ethisphere Institute’s 2013 World’s Most Ethical Companies.

“Acting with integrity and doing the right thing in all of our business practices is fundamental to H.B. Fuller’s philosophy of winning the right way,” said Jim Owens, president and CEO. “I am very pleased to receive this recognition of our business principles and practices. Being named one of the 2013 World’s Most Ethical Companies by Ethisphere affirms H.B. Fuller’s commitment to maintaining the highest standards for ethics, citizenship, corporate responsibility and governance.”

Ethisphere reviewed nominations from companies in more than 100 countries and 36 industries. The methodology for the award reportedly includes reviewing codes of ethics, litigation and regulatory infraction histories; evaluating the investment in innovation and sustainable business practices; looking at activities designed to improve corporate citizenship; and studying nominations from senior executives, industry peers, suppliers and customers.
