Gelest Forms Group to Focus on Regulatory Affairs and Quality Assurance

Gelest Inc. recently announced the formation of a new Regulatory Affairs and Quality Assurance Group. Co-leaders of the group include Kevin King, executive vice president Operations, who oversees Regulatory Affairs, and Joel Zazyczny, executive vice president-Silanes, Silicones and Metal Organics, who oversees Quality Assurance. The group’s goal is to ensure that Gelest continues to fulfill all applicable regulatory and quality assurance requirements pertaining to the company’s chemical manufacturing facilities and processes.

Based at the company’s Morrisville, Pa., headquarters, the group includes Shelly L. Kearney, who joins Gelest as Regulatory Affairs manager; Maya Kappil, Quality Systems manager; and Stephine Tarpeh, Environmental & Regulatory Affairs associate.
