The Adhesive and Sealant Council Inc. (ASC) recently announced it will conduct a webinar to address details regarding the Chemical Safety Improvement Act of 2013(S. 1009). The webinar, scheduled to take place at 11 a.m. EDT on June 13, will be free for ASC members; non-members can participate for $199.

“No legislative proposal has been more important to the ASC membership in the last 20 years,” said Matthew E. Croson, president. “It is critical that all members understand both the basics of the legislative proposal and its particular impact on our industry. This information will give them the opportunity to educate their elected representatives about the importance of the issue and this bill.”

Mark Duvall, a principal with the law firm of Beveridge & Diamond, will provide details regarding S.1009’s provisions during the webinar. In addition, Croson and Mark Collatz, ASC’s director of Regulatory Affairs, will offer some insights on how the bipartisan proposal would affect adhesive and sealant manufacturers.
