The Adhesive and Sealant Council (ASC) recently announced that seven companies have joined the organization in the second quarter of 2013. The new member companies represent different aspects of the adhesive and sealant supply chain, including raw materials suppliers, manufacturers, and global affiliates. The new companies are: Cardolite Corp., Beardow & Adams Adhesives Ltd., Pace Analytical, Nan Pao Resins Chemical Co., Paramelt USA, LORD Corp. and Oynurden Kimyasan.
“Companies join a trade association for three major reasons: they want to make sure regulations are fair to the industry, they want to make sure that technical standards are in place to compete on a level playing field, and they want access to focused educational opportunities to support their teams,” said Matthew E. Croson, president. “ASC is delivering on these value propositions by focusing on regulatory issues that directly impact our industry, putting teams together to respond to technical issues, and providing focused education opportunities on a variety of platforms in order to support the industry. We welcome any and all companies involved in adhesives and sealants to join the council and help guide these efforts.”
