The Tridak^® model 1000 is a semi-automated filling system that uses a Dymax model 828 disposable fluid path valve to reportedly make material changeover fast and easy, while eliminating most cross-contamination. This filling system can be manually loaded and unloaded, allowing users to fill 3-, 10-, and 30-mL syringes through the tip. Alternatively, the disposable tubing can be extended through the valve and used as a handheld “wand” dispenser, which can be used for filling trays. The valve also features adjustable suck-back for accurate, clean cut-off of stringy or tacky materials.
