LORD Corp. recently announced it has received the 2013 Pratt & Whitney Canada (P&WC) Sustainability Award, an award intended to honor companies that minimize their impact on the environment while improving cost and efficiency in their operations. Nominees responded to a survey that evaluated each company’s level of involvement in applying sustainability within their organization. P&WC reportedly selected LORD based on its investment in reducing the company’s impact on the environment through the manufacturing cycle and through innovations in product development that reduce customers’ environmental impact.

“We are honored to be named a winner of the 2013 Pratt & Whitney Canada Sustainability Award,” said David Vervoort, customer manager. “LORD is committed to creating sustainable manufacturing processes and developing innovative new technologies and solutions to support our customers’ investments in sustainable products.”
