Huntsman recently announced its titanium dioxide manufacturing site at Greatham, England, received three Chemical Industry Awards from the Chemical Industries Association. The company received the ABB Manufacturing & Resource Efficiency Award and the Environmental Leadership Award, and was joint winner of the Company of the Year Award, reportedly the most prestigious award.
“My congratulations go to the Greatham team for all three awards, and particularly the Company of the Year Award, which underscores Huntsman’s commitment to making our sites and facilities a great place to work for our associates,” said Simon Turner, president of the Pigments division.
“The 2014 Chemical Industry Awards celebrated the very best of our industry, and I believe the very best of business and workforce achievement throughout the UK,” said Steve Elliott, chief executive of the Chemical Industries Association. “All who entered have great stories to tell. Our winners should be very proud of their achievements.”
