University of Michigan Solar Car Features Avery Dennison Car Wrap

Avery Dennison Graphics Solutions recently announced that the University of Michigan will enter a car wrapped in Avery Dennison® MPI 1005 Supercast Easy Apply RS™ University of Michigan Solar Car Features Avery Dennison Car Wrapand DOL 1360 overlaminate in the 2014 American Solar Car Challenge. The wrap film was installed on “Quantum” by TKO Graphix of Indianapolis, Ind. The 2014 American Solar Challenge begins on July 21 in Austin, Texas, and finishes in St. Paul, Minn.

“We admire the University of Michigan Solar Car team in its quest for innovation and a fourth consecutive win at the American Solar Challenge,” said Don Nolan, president of the Avery Dennison Materials Group. “Collaborating with University of Michigan students on a sustainable energy source like solar fits well with our pursuit to create more innovative and sustainable products.”
