Sika Target Market Industry and Region NA Automotive recently announced several personnel appointments. Elizabeth Farhat has been promoted to the position of chemist, reporting to Leslie Wolschleger, Lab manager. Farhat joined Sika in 2010 as a contract employee for Sika and was hired as a research technician in 2012.

Jena Mabilia has been promoted to the position of senior chemist, also reporting to Wolschleger. Mabilia joined Sika in 2001 as a junior chemist.

Michael Speight has been hired as a process engineer for the company’s Madison Heights Research and Development team, reporting to Wolschleger. Speight recently completed his bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering from the University of Michigan.

Debra Watrous has joined Sika Corp. as office coordinator for Target Market Industry and Region NA Automotive, reporting to Renae Branham, supervisor of Human Resources. She previously worked in administration for Chrysler. Watrous will be responsible for organizing and maintaining the Madison Heights facility, processing purchase orders and other administrative tasks.

Jeff Woodford has been promoted to director of Technical Services and Systems Engineering, reporting to Phil Weber, vice president of Product Engineering and Technical Services. Woodford joined Sika in 1999 as a chemical engineer.
