Brookfield recently announced it will offer two hands-on courses designed to help users understand the functionality of their instrument, solve the mysteries of fluid behavior, and create successful and repeatable viscosity test methods for use in both R&D and QC. The courses are offered at Brookfield’s Middleboro, Mass., headquarters, and in major cities across the U.S.

“Practical Course on Viscosity Measurements” is a one-day course designed to provide information, activities and techniques that attendees can understand and use. Discussion topics include how to pick a spindle/speed combination, methodology, rheology, and calibration and verification checks.

“Lab Day/Advanced Viscosity Test Methods” is a one-day advanced course that covers viscosity and related rheological measurements, including yield stress, shear rate ramps, viscosity vs. temperature profiles, creep, and viscoelastic behavior.
