ASC Spring Program Highlights of the Day: Monday, April 18

A hot melt short course takes place from 7:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m. for pre-registered attendees.

From 8 a.m. to 2 p.m., the ASC Gives Back volunteer program will provide delegates an opportunity to help a local charter school by repainting their classrooms and beautifying the grounds so that it can re-open in the fall to receive students.

Located 20 minutes from downtown in the New Orleans East neighborhood, the mission of Einstein Charter School is to promote academic excellence in teaching and learning through the integration of mathematics and science in interdisciplinary curricula and to promote the ideals and habits of lifelong learning among all stakeholders.

The evening Welcome Reception will begin at 6 p.m.


ASC Spring Program Highlights of the Day: Tuesday, April 19

Attendees will begin their day on Tuesday, April 19, with an Opening General Session Breakfast from 7:30-9 a.m. Ken Mayland, Ph.D., president of ClearView Economics LLC, will present “An Election Year Economic Update and Policy Possibilities for 2017 and Beyond.”

Following the breakfast, three separate education sessions will discuss Business Development and Market Trends; Technical and Government Regulations; and Formulating with Additives.

From noon until 1 p.m., delegates can enjoy lunch on their own.

Afternoon sessions pick up at 1:15 p.m., and will cover the topics of Business Development and Market Trends; Technical and Government Regulations; and New Technology and Application.

The Expo takes place from 3:30-7 p.m. The ASC Expo Reception is scheduled to begin at 5:30 p.m. Hundreds of adhesives and sealants professionals are expected to attend the Expo for networking and learning about the newest products and services in the adhesives and sealants space.


ASC Spring Program Highlights of the Day: Wednesday, April 20

The program begins at 7:30 a.m. on Wednesday, April 20, with the General Session Breakfast and Keynote. Suzanne Shelton, CEO of Shelton Group, will present “Green is Now Mainstream—What Does That Mean For You?”

After the breakfast, morning educational sessions will discuss the topics of Business Development and Market Trends; Technical and Government Regulations; and New Technology and Application.

At 12:30 p.m., attendees can gather for the general session lunch and keynote to listen to William Landuyt, Ph.D., energy advisor at ExxonMobil Corp., give the talk “Outlook for Energy: A View to 2040.”

At 1:45 p.m., educational sessions resume.

The Wednesday closing keynote, “Lead, Follow, or Get out of the Way: Global Consolidation in the Adhesive & Sealant Sector,” presented by Thomas Blaige, chairman and CEO, Blaige & Co., is scheduled for 4-5 p.m.

The Closing Reception from 5-6 p.m. will provide a chance for final conversations, socializing and follow-up meetings.
