This company has launched a new series of high-tack acrylic double-coated tapes and transfer adhesives. Developed with the company’s solvent-free, 100%-solids adhesive technology, the product series features Mactac’s new high-tack acrylic adhesive, MP410. The adhesive is reportedly easy to handle and die-cut and was designed to perform well on a variety of substrates, including acrylonitrile butadiene styrene (ABS), metals, polycarbonate, most foams, fabrics and high density polyethylene (HDPE).

The MP410 adhesive reportedly has low levels of VOCs, migratory compounds, and residuals. It can deliver strong optical properties, adhesion performance superior to many traditional solvent acrylics, solvent, chemical and plasticizer resistance, UV-resistance, and wide performance range.

“Mactac’s extensive expertise in adhesive coating, combined with our state-of-the-art technology, expands functionality, inspires new product designs and positions us as a market leader in clean adhesive technology,” said Janet Page, marketing manager. “With the environmental and economic benefits of 100%-solids coating, we are proud to offer the market an acrylic adhesive that is completely solvent-free and meets customers’ needs for high-performance.”
