Chemique Adhesives anticipates energy-cost reduction and reduced emissions thanks to a 30-kW solar installation.
Chemique Adhesives recently announced that the 30-kW solar installation on the roof of its North American headquarters in Kennesaw, Ga., has begun operation. The solar power addition is part of the company’s corporate commitment to sustainability. Designed and built by Atlanta-based Velo Solar, the installation will reduce Chemique’s CO2 emissions by 30.6 tons annually, the equivalent of planting 784 trees.
Tony McMullen, president of Chemique Adhesives, said Velo Solar’s reputation for quality and value, along with the company’s commitment to customer service, assured Chemique of optimal performance. Those characteristics are in keeping with the effective, eco-friendly product lines Chemique has introduced for its customers, as well as with its corporate mission.
