ACME-HARDESTY NAMES WINKEL V.P. OF SUPPLY CHAIN GROUP

Thomas E. Winkel has been named vice president of the supply chain group for Acme-Hardesty Co. Headquartered in Blue Bell, PA, the company is a value-added reseller of vegetable and animal-fat based oleochemicals, derivatives, specialties and industrial process chemicals throughout the U.S. In his new position, Winkel will be responsible for purchasing, customer service, logistics and operations. Joining Acme-Hardesty in Sept. 2003, Winkel served as director of operations. He previously held positions with W.R. Grace & Co. as director of Manufacturing and Manufacturing manager. Winkel holds a B.S. in Manufacturing and Engineering from Clarson University, and received an MBA in Operations from the University of North Florida.
