Four new technical bulletins highlight the rheology, adhesion, thickening and film properties of the company’s Airflex® 920 Dev emulsion, a polyvinyl alcohol-stabilized vinyl acetate-ethylene emulsion for adhesive applications. The emulsion is designed to offer excellent adhesion to a variety of difficult-to-adhere substrates. Its improved flow, wet-out and film-coalescence properties are key to its exceptional adhesion. The emulsion is compatible with many other raw materials and polymer systems, and has a unique set of film properties, such as flexibility, residual or dry tack, strong water resistance, film clarity and a rapid setting speed.
