AIR PRODUCTS: Epoxy Curing Agent

Responding to a North American market need for a curing agent for formulations with increased chemical resistance for coating concrete and metal, Air Products and Chemicals, Inc. has developed Ancamine 2625 curing agent, a high-performance product for use in high employee traffic areas. Ancamine 2625 curing agent is a non-MDA aromatic amine, designed for use in two-package epoxy formulations. It is especially suitable for use with multi-functional, epoxy novalac resins. It is plasticizer-free to allow more formulating flexibility and is suitable for ambient and heat-cured applications with the same high chemical exposure resistance. The curing agent product has low viscosity to provide ease of application, and a low AHEW (amine hydrogen equivalent weight) that makes it a low cost-in-use material.
