AMERICAN CHEMISTRY COUNCIL: New Website

A new website and integrated messaging platform highlights the importance of chemistry in driving innovation, creating jobs and enhancing safety.

“Ninety-six percent of all manufactured goods and 5 million U.S. jobs are touched by the business of chemistry, making it an essential part of our nation’s economy,” said Cal Dooley, president and CEO of the American Chemistry Council (ACC). “Now, more than ever, it is important that we elevate the conversation and remind policymakers in Washington and across the country of the importance of our industry and the consequences of bad policy.”

ACC’s new platform was designed to amplify the new messaging among a more targeted audience. The launch of both represents a shift from ACC’s consumer-facing “essential2” campaign to one aimed at influencing decision makers at the local, state and federal levels.

In addition, the website reflects the organization’s advocacy priorities and magnifies the role the chemistry industry plays in addressing today’s critical issues. The site reportedly features a more dynamic, engaging, and action-oriented design to enhance the users’ experience and take them from awareness to engagement and mobilization.
