Assembly East Brings Solutions to the Mid-Atlantic

NORWALK, Conn. -- Assembly East will take place May 1-2, 2002, at the Fort Washington Expo Center in Fort Washington, Pa. According to Kelvin Marsden-Kish, industry vice president of Reed Exhibitions, which produces the Assembly events, "This is the region's only convenient, local source for the latest products and technologies for the entire assembly process."

From the most advanced robotic systems to simple hand tools, fasteners and adhesives, attendees will have the opportunity to evaluate everything they need to reduce costs, find solutions for assembling new products, reduce cycle time, and increase capacity.

The 2002 program will feature sessions from the Society of Manufacturing Engineers as well as the Surface Mount Technology Association and the Edison Welding Institute. More than 200 leading suppliers to the assembly market will be demonstrating their newest products at

Assembly East.

A complete listing of conference sessions, schedules, course descriptions, exhibiting companies, pricing and discounts is available at the Assembly East Web site, www.atexpo.com.
