W. CONSHOHOCKEN, Pa. – ASTM is offering two training courses this fall, one on weathering and durability and the other on testing techniques for plastics.

Weathering and Durability will teach attendees how to obtain the most meaningful and cost-effective results in laboratory-accelerated weathering tests. The course will be held Sept. 21-22, 1999, at ASTM Headquarters, West Conshohocken, Pa., and Nov. 9-10, 1999, in Nashville, Tenn. The $695 course tuition includes course notes, a certificate of attendance, 1.5 Continuing Education units and coffee breaks.

Major Testing Techniques for Plastics is a three-day Technical and Professional Training course, which will be held October 12-14, 1999, in Baltimore. The course will introduce the basic principles, techniques and equipment used in physical and analytical measurements of plastics characteristics.
